The manykind
brand guide

How the marketplace where real experts get paid looks, speaks, and behaves.

v1.0 · June 2026 · companion to 06-marketing/brand/manykind-brand-guide.md

01The name

Many people. Kind to one at a time.

Manykind is many + kind, echoing mankind. A coined compound with no AI or software collision, which makes it defensible. The name was locked on June 3, 2026, and manykind.ai is owned. Lowercase in the wordmark, capital M in prose.

many+kind=manykind
What it carries

People helping people

Real experts package their knowledge and judgment as AI agents that help others, for pay. Commercial and premium, end to end.

The known liability

"Kind" can read soft

Charity is the failure mode. The fix is design and messaging, never the name: every surface must say experts earn here.

Status

Stealth until reveal

Never mention Manykind or link manykind.ai publicly before the coordinated reveal. Public materials say "Agent marketplace". External deploys use neutral project names.

02Positioning

Everyone built wrappers. We built the marketplace.

Manykind is where real experts get paid, own their data, and prove they are real. The audience is creators, not developers: coaches first (dating, parenting, health and fitness, career and life). Lead with the product against Granola, Notion AI, and ChatGPT memory. The protocol is the proof underneath, not the headline.

"Every client will have an AI coach. Make sure it's yours."

Live landing headline · coach beachhead

Data sovereignty
The client's vault is wallet-owned. The platform is custodial of credentials only.
Signed consent
Every agent permission is a wallet-signed, scoped, time-limited Agreement. Revocation is a signature change, not a dashboard click.
Real marketplace
Experts publish, price, and earn. None of the twelve tracked rivals combine monetization with sovereignty.
Memory as architecture
Agents remember clients across sessions by design, a version of the coach that knows them.

The split: locked, and honest

85% creator
15%

Caveat, always 85% applies when store payments go live. Until then creators bill clients directly and keep everything.

vs Apple 30% · Google up to 20% plus payment and subscription surcharges · framework at cost

03The mark

The arch. Two lean together, one is carried.

Two arches meeting over an i. The arches read as a lowercase m, many. The i is the individual, kind to one person at a time. Chosen from a 46-mark, five-round tournament scored on distinctiveness, 16px legibility, story, versatility, and premium feel.

The arches

Always ink. Two people leaning together form the shelter. The arch never takes the accent color.

The i

Dot plus stem, and the only place violet lives in the mark. The individual inside the structure.

The wordmark

manykind, Inter Tight 600, lowercase, letter-spacing -0.02em. Ink only, never the accent color.

Clear space

At least the width of one arch leg on all sides. Never recolor, outline, shadow, or rotate.

Do
  • Accent on the i only, dot plus stem, in the mark only
  • Mono goes all one color, including the i
  • PNG lockups when Inter Tight cannot be guaranteed
  • One arch leg of clear space minimum, all sides
Don't
  • Put violet on the arches or the wordmark
  • Recolor, outline, drop-shadow, or rotate the mark
  • Set the wordmark in title case or all caps
  • Use the SVG lockups without loading Inter Tight
04Color

Dark canvas. Violet is rationed.

One system, every surface: landing, social, decks, the Agent Store shell, and product. Violet marks the individual, the action, and the earning moment. A surface drowning in violet has lost the point of the accent. Click any swatch to copy its hex.

05Typography

A grotesque voice with one human word.

The signature move: one Bodoni Moda italic word inside a Bricolage headline, set in pale violet. It marks the human inside the system, the same job the i does in the mark. At most one accent word per headline.

06Voice

A confident operator, not a movement.

Premium, commercial, plain. The brand explains a good deal; it does not recruit believers. Lead with what the creator earns and what the client gets. State limits in the same breath as the promise.

"85% is yours when store payments go live. Until then, you bill clients directly and keep everything."

The honesty caveat · the model for stating limits

Sounds like us
  • Creators, experts, clients, coaches, the Agent Store
  • "A version of you that knows them" for the core promise
  • Short sentences, point first, numbers when we have them
  • Plain limits: name what is not live yet, every time
Never
  • Charity language: "give back", "kindness revolution", "community of care"
  • Developer-speak to creators: SDK, API, runtime, isolate
  • Hype: revolutionary, game-changing, magical
  • Em dashes. Hyphens, commas, colons, periods only
Never saySay instead
"Kafka-native"Real-time streams. Transport is Redis Streams moving to NATS JetStream; Kafka was explicitly rejected (ADR-026).
"DAC proves agents are real" / "trust through math"Wallet-signed consent via GAR proves who may touch what. DAC is the operator-side billing and settlement audit trail.
"Client-side encryption, users hold the keys"Wallet-owned vault. The DDC bucket owner is the user's wallet; the platform is custodial of credentials only.
"Voice agents", as if shippedTranscription is available (Whisper STT). Realtime voice is not a product today.
07Before you ship

The five-line pre-flight.

[ ]Wordmark lowercase and ink; violet only on the i, only in the mark
[ ]85/15 stated with the payments honesty caveat
[ ]No charity language, no em dashes, no hype adjectives
[ ]Claims clean: no Kafka-native, no DAC-as-trust, no "users hold the keys"
[ ]Stealth respected if pre-reveal: no name, no manykind.ai links, neutral deploy names
